Welcome! I'm Amberlyn. A mama to a beautiful baby girl and a wife to the best husband, who also fills in as my second shooter. I'm also a vet tech so please bring your fur babies!
As a natural light portrait photographer located in Richmond, Ky. I shoot on location in the surrounding areas, in my studio, and I am available for travel. I love to capture the seasons changing and strive to incorporate the best that Kentucky has to offer. I’m always on the lookout for beautiful blooms, sunflower fields, and fall foliage. Beautiful colors will fill your images, giving them a timeless quality not often seen today.
I specialize in weddings and elopements as well as portraits for children including newborn, graduates, couples and families. I commonly shoot portraits outdoors and offer my studio for baby's first year sessions, headshots, and limited edition themed events for children. If you prefer your session to be indoors, we will 100% make it happen!

My approach
My approach to photography is rooted in observation, patience, and storytelling. I aim to capture authentic moments rather than forced ones, allowing light, composition, and emotion to guide each frame. Whether working with people, places, or details, I focus on creating images that feel natural and timeless, emphasizing mood and meaning over perfection. I see photography as a way to translate how a moment feels, not just how it looks, using subtle details and thoughtful framing to invite viewers into the scene.
Photography is more than a profession to me—it’s a deeply personal creative outlet and a way of seeing the world. I’m driven by a genuine love for capturing authentic moments rather than forced ones. Also creating a unique session for each person i work for.
I also capture boudoir and when working in boudoir, my priority is creating a safe, comfortable space where women feel confident, seen, and beautiful. I focus on highlighting natural beauty and individuality, guiding gently while honoring each person’s comfort and boundaries.
